Trusting in God won’t make the mountain smaller, but will make climbing easier, don’t ask God for lighter load but ask for stronger shoulder.
EDITORIAL
By releasing this issue, firstly I thanks to God who is giving me power to write something. 8th of March is being celebrated as Woman’s Day. Here I would like to share some words with you upon this through this column.
Woman is embodiment of many qualities; on the one hand she is known to be of the most beautiful creation of God, on the other hand, she is also epitome of tolerance, dignity and love. In fact, the virtues of a woman cannot be described in words. Woman has always been a boom to the man. She becomes a fountain of love as a mother, showers her well wishes and prayer as a sister and then cooperates and supports man through thick and thin as a wife. Even our prophets have praising the household where daughter is born.
Although the society has changed a lot but still the woman is look down upon. In Indian household daughter are discriminated in comparison to boys and they are made to work more in comparison to boys and imposed more restrictions. That’s why daughter have a low self esteem. Here I would like to put forward my thoughts that more the coal is burned, the more it gets refined that’s why parents teach household works to the daughter and take more works so that when they go in their In-Laws, they get praise. If we talk secondly then daughter is dignity of a household. For every man his dignity is important that’s why parents impose so many restrictions on daughter to protect them from the evil eyes of the society. I personally think that daughter is dignity of household and son is wealth. Wealth ones lost can be gained but respect ones lost can never be gained. So daughter should have a dignified thought process which is good for them, their parents and the society at large.
The western culture begins to influence our society. Going beyond extreme is preparing for one’s doom. A girl should be careful while wearing western clothes and spending time in western culture. Some time due to modernization even a well-mannered girl blindly copies the western culture especially western clothes. Unaware of the fact that society may cast evil eyes on her any time. There is an old saying by our ancestor which I would like to quote here “Woman, Food and Wealth are best kept under a veil. Having said the above, I still solute the most beautiful creation of God called “Woman”
I specially thanks to Rev. Arun Sareen, a man of nice and cooperative nature and Rev.S, P. Jindal, a loftiest person, who have been contributed to the completion of this magazine. I am also thankful to readers for their precious feedback.

PARABLE
If a particular part of our body is diseased, we going for the best available medical treatment to cure it. We do not chop it off or throw it away. Similarly saints do not shun others on account of their faults. They own them notwithstanding the same. In fact, they help them to overcome their shortcomings.
UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD – SANT NIRANKARI MISSION
DIET
A reference was made to diet. The question was what kind of food we should take and what we should avoid. This was discussed in Mussoorie Conference also. Then our approach was clarified in the previous meeting also and we noted the points that we must bear in mind. We have not to hate others on account of their diet habits. But at the same time a reference was made to the use of intoxicants. It had two aspects – one that it obstructed the preaching of our message and secondly, it harmed the families. A considerable portion of family income got diverted towards this. So, it was prohibited. It was stated that the use of intoxicants should be avoided. As regards food, it was noted that we should not hate others for what they eat. At the same time, in public function or Langer etc. where many saints take their food together, we should generally avoid such food as is disliked by religious people. As regards the food to be taken privately, we must take note of the trend prevailing at the international level. People in America, Canada and other countries are on their own turning towards vegetarian food. It will be a good thing if we too follow this trend in the normal course. What I mean to say that if we consider that such and such food is coming in the way of the preaching of the Mission’s message, we may think of giving up the same.
From The Book “S.N.Mission Prachar Activities and Organizational Set-up” English Version – Page No. 98
Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji had taken many revolutionary steps to spread the mission and some are below:
Abolition of Dowry, impulses the intercast and simple marriages.
Ban on intoxicants and ban on non vegetarian food in a group.
Encourages to Baal-Satsang, English Medium Satsang etc.
From: A book which was published on annual samagam in the year 1977, page number 35.
Editor’s View
Some saints say that there is no direct restriction from Satguru regarding avoiding the non vegetarian food. In this regards, I would like to add some lines that Satguru comes on the earth not for some people but for all the humanity. And there are many parts on the earth where vegetarian food is not available and if there one wants to live then he has to accept other option regarding non vegetarian food etc. And Satguru wants to spread the message of God or Humanity to them also that’s why Satguru doesn’t give direct commandment regarding avoiding the non vegetarian food. And in above paragraphs which I took from the books is cleared that what Satguru wants. I think a hint is enough for a wise person. OR one saint said:
“Tere Hukam Nu Manaa, Tere Farmaan To Pehlaan”

“We love our self even after doing many mistakes, then how can we hate others for their small mistakes. Strange but true it is fact of life and everyone must change it.”
YOUR QUESTION AND YOUR ANSWER
International women’s day: Compliments and advices to women.
March 8 is celebrated as woman day the world over. The motive behind it is to awaken womanhood towards their rights so that they may be emancipated from the age-old suppression and marginalization by the dominating males. Woman form almost half of the mankind but they do not on the avenues of power to that extent. Males have been dominating them, we all the walks of life and even today the freedom of woman is more in slogans and less in practice.
The question arises how can woman love a life of honor and dignity in society? Some woman organist ions have extremist views in this regard. They want to dismantle all the structures and institutions created and designed by men. They think that men have contrived to enclave woman physically as well as mentally. Therefore, according to them, women can be free by rejecting the male dominated concepts but this is not the desired way.
What woman should do best?
2. They should respect girl-child and expecting mother should not kill the female foetus.
3. Girls should be given the best education
4. Mothers should respect their daughter-in-laws, and daughter-in-laws should also respect mother-in-laws.
5. The married girls should talk to their mother on mobile etc only to the optimum level.
6. Young girls should refuse to many greedy boys
Last but not the least, no harm in looking beautiful but woman should dress themselves soberly.
“ Prof. Jindal Ji”
In the words of Late Pt Jawaharlal Nehru: "You can’t tell the condition of a nation by looking at the status of its women". As we had celebrated women’s day on 08th March, I feel that it is my duty to express my gratitude to all women in my life, as a mother, sister, friend, and peer…to all known and unknown women’s.International Women's Day (8 March) is an occasion marked by women's groups around the world. This date is also commemorated at the United Nations and is designated in many countries as a national holiday. When women on all continents, often divided by national boundaries and by ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic and political differences, come together to celebrate their Day. International Women's Day is the story of ordinary women as makers of history; it is rooted in the centuries-old struggle of women to participate in society on an equal footing with men. In ancient Greece, Lysistrata initiated a sexual strike against men in order to end war; during the French Revolution, Parisian women calling for "liberty, equality, and fraternity" marched on Versailles to demand women's suffrage. The idea of an International Women's Day first arose at the turn of 20th century, which in the industrialized world was a period of expansion and turbulence, booming population growth and radical ideologies.
Women in Modern Indiapresently the picture seems to be very different and paradoxical. Goddesses are revered in various hues and forms throughout the country. Most major Hindu festivals are venerations of a Goddess. But the mortal Indian woman is another story completely. There are horrendous stories of 'dowry deaths'; stories of female infanticide are unfortunately too many to ignore; women in small towns and villages are victimized by powerful figures of the community and their families. These cases are not the norm of our society but the fact that they do happen is horrifying. Comparisons made with the low points of other societies or religions or countries do not take away from the fact that these cases should not be there and should not have any reason to reoccur. The wonderful legacy of our past of tolerance and of women empowerment seems to have faded away.

CAREER KNOCK
I am a charted accountancy student. I cleared PE I in May 2006. After that I couldn’t appear for PE II exams due to some problem. This is my last attempt for PE II but I don’t wish to appear for it because even if I complete my CA. It would be completed in more than stipulated five years. So I am thinking of canceling my registration and re-registering myself for this course so that I can finish it in the first attempt. Is it be a feasible idea?

FIVE YOGA TIPS FOR STUDENTS TO STAY AWAY FROM STRESS:
Deep breathing: It is a must do exercise for every student since it eases all the tension and stress in the body. I suggest regular breaks between studying hours, for at least five minutes of deep breathing. It helps increase concentration and self confidence.
Wrist exercise: Penning answers for three straight hours during an exam is tiring. So I suggest the students to rotate their wrists and slowly open and close the fingers for five minutes.
Neck to neck: Neck is another problem area for students. A student should rotate his neck and relax it. Being in the same position for a long time and reading with bowed head strains and neck.
Self massage: Cross your arms and press them both simultaneously with your hands. It helps in relaxing the body’s stiffness. It’s miracle cure for easing tension.
Exercising: Its important for students to take break from studies and keep aside atleast 40-45 minutes for some kind of light exercise- be it yoga, light cardio exercises or walking in the open. These freshen up and recharge you for the day.
Tips for Exams
1. Attempt both the questions of you are running short of time and you still have two questions left to be answered. Examinee would be tempted to give marks to both the answers even if they are incomplete. It is better to attempt two and leave both incomplete rather then attempting one and leaving that one incomplete.
2. Never leave the examination hall before the allotted time is over. It doesn’t help. Even if you have answered all the questions to your entire satisfaction, go through the commas and full stops, label the heading, improve the presentation, add or subtract a fact. It always pays to look at the entire answer sheet in one go, perhaps the question number is written wrongly or a diagram has been left unmarked.

What provides electrical energy to artificial satellites in space?
Satellites usually work on batteries that are continuously recharged using solar cells. Solar cells convert the sunlight that falls on them into electricity – which is used to charge the batteries. Some satellites also use nuclear reactor or radioactive material for producing energy. This is required by special defense satellites.

COVER STORY: RAM CHARIT MANAS
The magnum opus of Tulasidaasa is his Raamacharitamaanasa. It is the modified version of the life story of Raama as narrated by Vaalmiiki in his Raamaayana. The Raamacharitamaanasa is divided along the lines of the Raamaayana into seven cantos or kaandas – Baalakaanda, Ayodhyaakaanda, AraNyakaanda, Kishhkindhaakaanda, Sundarakaanda, Lankaakaanda and Uttarakaanda.

Lord Rama should not be taken as a Hindu Prophet alone. He belongs to the entire cosmos and total humanity. By communalizing and idolizing him. His followers are diminishing his stature. Let us rise above idolatry and attain to the Formless Form of lord Rama and enjoy his real blessings for ever.
Extra Knock: PAST IS FUTURE SO CARE THE PRESENT
Once upon a time, there were two friends, named Rahul and Manoj. They were lived together. Rahul was one of the honest, hardworking and had the company with pious men. On the other side, Manoj was a person who lived luxurious and bad life and had no faith in God. Rahul always advised him to have faith in God by doing good deeds but he never listened him.
One day, both of them went off their houses for their own work. Rahul directly gone for congregations on the other side, Manoj went out for a fun. In the evening, when both of them returned to their home, they were surprised to see one another. Manoj got a packet full of money in his way on that day, but Rahul had a wound on foot with the stricken thorn. On seeing the foot of Rahul, Manoj asked him that what he gets by the name of the God. Manoj told him that he always go for bad life & he got a packet full of money. In this way he made fun of Rahul that in turn Rahul got hurted. On that night, Rahul was thinking heartlessly that how it could be happen that Manoj who never did a good deed got money and I, who, daily go for congregation, living a truthful life, hurted by thorn.
Rahul did not keep this problem in heart & he thought that he will ask to his true master in congregation next day.
On next morning, when Rahul told all this happening to his master, then his master answered him: “all these are the fruits of your old birth’s deeds. In past birth, Manoj was a holy personality man, lived with truthfulness due to the results of those deeds he got money but due to his present bad deeds the sweetness of fruit got lessened. And Rahul you did mostly sin in the last birth due to which you got hurted by thorn. The time you wounded by thorn is the time when you’ll beget executed ( or hanged by neck) but due to your present great deeds that you have done till now in your life, attending congregations, the result of which your punishment of execution got decrease to the punishment like a needle, due to which you are hurted by thorn. By listening all these Rahul fell down on the feet of his true master & ask for forgiveness as the doubt had came in his mind for his true master.

Our future depends upon our past deeds.
CHHOTTI – CHHOTTI
JARURI BAATEIN
Do you see the people suffering from asthma in small age, headache, low IQ power etc what is the reason?????????? Reason is indoor pollution or place where they live............
Curtains: It is the main source of pollution in our home. most of the dust gets deposited on them and whenever we touch them, we inhale that dust and which is responsible for respiratory problems like asthma.
So, clean the curtains regularly.
Carpets: Make less use of synthetic carpets because they absorb the maximum dust from our feet or shoes. and again when we put our feet on carpets the dust which they absorb earlier is inhaled by us and cause respiratory diseases.
So, use hand made carpets.
Ventilation: There should be proper ventilation in our houses or offices. And if there is no ventilation one can suffer from a disease called sick building syndrome in which we feel restless, continuously headache etc.
In kitchen: The vegetables and fruits which we eat should wash properly under running water because chemicals are spread on them which have a capability to destroy the metabolism and if we eat as such it can cause severe problems in us.
Also never wrap the food with newspaper as the material which is written on newspaper is made of lead which cause serious problems related to brain.
